Dear Groton Middle School Community, 

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the newest Assistant Principal of Groton Middle School. I am very excited to be working with the seventh grade this year! Just a little bit about me, I have spent the past 10 years in a high school setting; six years as a social studies teacher and 4 years as the assistant principal. I am excited to be able to be at the middle school level and be back on the shoreline. 

I am looking forward to working with the students in 7th grade this year and building relationships with them. Seventh grade is a very important time, developmentally for students; they are growing academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in a collaborative model between school and home, in order to continue to create a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all of our learners. I look forward to working with you and your students to make this year great for them!
