WELCOME GMS 8th GRADE  STUDENTS!

Dear Eighth Grade Graders and Families,

Welcome to Eighth Grade! I am excited to welcome everyone back to GMS and any new students who are joining our school this year.

I am looking forward to working with the eighth grade this year and continuing to build relationships with them. Eighth grade is a very important time, developmentally for students; they are growing academically, socially and emotionally. Along with having many positive events, like the eighth grade field trip and promotion, students will be working with their teachers and counselors to decide what next year will look like for them in terms of high school and what their interests are. Having worked with this group last year I am excited to be a part of this journey with them.

I believe in a collaborative model between school and home, in order to continue to create a positive, respectful and supportive learning environment for all of our learners. I look forward to working with you and your students to make this year great for them! Please feel free to reach out to me, if you have any questions, concerns or ideas. I believe in a team model, in order to foster a positive learning environment for our students.

With Kind Regards,

Samantha Singleton
