Starting on Tuesday, January 20th, there will be a Project Oceanology Club that will meet after school in room 415 until the late bus. The club will meet 6 Tuesdays through March.

Students who are interested in participating should email Mr. Strouse, have their advisory teacher email Mr. Strouse or stop by and see Mr. Strouse in room 415.

Do you love DIY projects but need a dedicated time to finish them? Join the GMS Creative Collective, an after school, bring your own project club!

 

Interested in debate or public speaking? The Debate Club is the perfect place for you to learn more about the art of debate.  Improve your confidence, speaking skills, and your power to persuade.  Ask Mr. Deeble for more info. Stop by room 225 to pick up a permission slip. Debate Club will meet Mondays starting on October 20th in room 225.

We are excited to announce that online sign-ups for GMS Girls on the Run (Heart & Sole) after-school program will open this upcoming Monday 2/9 and close on Monday 2/16. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to engage in a supportive, fun environment where they can build confidence! There is no cost to participate. Mrs. Panucci's Creative Writing Club

Are you interested in writing stories, poetry, or other creative pieces? The Creative Writing Club is starting this week and we want YOU to join us!

Meeting Details:

Teacher: Mrs. Panucci, Rm. 204

Days: Wednesdays and Thursdays

Time: 2:30 PM to 4:15 PM

Start Date: Wednesday, May 6

End Date: Thursday, May 28, 2026

What You Need to Do:

Permission slips are required to participate. You can pick up a slip outside of Room 204. Please return your signed paper as soon as possible so you can join us at our first meeting!

Calling all chess fans!

Are you just learning? A young master? Never played before in your life? Then you are welcome to join the Chess Club run by Mrs. M (Met-sea-ow-skis).

All grades and experiences welcome. Please pick up a permission slip in the library and return to Ms. Strickland in the library. 

The first 20 students to return the slips will be admitted into the club. 

Deadline for permission slips is Thursday May 7. Ms. M will contact you on Friday to let you know if you made it into the club.

The Chess Club will run Mondays and Wednesdays after school starting May 11 and ending June 8.
